
Step 1: Apply to College
- If you plan on using Federal Tuition Assistance (FTA), first visit the GoArmyEd website
- If you do not intend to use FTA, apply for admissions online
- Military applicants may also need to provide
Step 2: Application Review & Finalization
- KCTCS will review the veteran’s admission packet, DD214, and Joint Services Transcript.
- Credit will be awarded for military experience which can be applied towards the program’s requirements or electives.
- The school will advise the veteran on scheduling, textbook purchase, tuition, and any other associated costs.
IMPORTANT:
Transitioning service members must contact BCTC’s Military and Veteran Campus Resource Team, as well as the Industrial Maintenance college to ensure they receive military credits.
