The opportunity for upward mobility in the Industrial Maintenance field is endless in Kentucky. From the auto industry to our countless distilleries, these manufacturers will always have a need for industrial maintenance technicians. This field requires troubleshooting, calibrating, repair, programming and of course, maintenance. Where there is a machine, there will always be the need to fix.

With the help of Kentucky Community and Technical College System, our veterans will earn college credits for their military experience which will be applied towards a certificate, diploma and/or an Associate in Applied Science degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology. Simply apply for admissions and put your military benefits to use!

  1. If you plan on using Federal Tuition Assistance (FTA), first visit the GoArmyEd website
  2. If you do not intend to use FTA, apply for admissions online
    • Military applicants may also need to provide

High school transcript(s)

College transcript(s)
(if applicable)

JST (Joint Services Transcript)

DD214

ACT Test Scores

SAT Test Scores

Step 2:  Application Review & Finalization
  • KCTCS will review the veteran’s admission packet, DD214, and Joint Services Transcript.
  • Credit will be awarded for military experience which can be applied towards the program’s  requirements or electives.
  • The school will advise the veteran on scheduling, textbook purchase, tuition, and any other associated costs.
IMPORTANT:

Transitioning service members must contact BCTC’s Military and Veteran Campus Resource Team, as well as the Industrial Maintenance college to ensure they receive military credits.
