KY VALOR helps veterans capitalize on their military experience to meet career goals and find a fulfilling post-service career in Kentucky. We partner with employers throughout the Commonwealth to recruit and connect transitioning service members and their spouses to open job opportunities.

KY VALOR (Veterans Accelerated Licensure Occupational Recruitment) is a nonprofit initiative of the Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation (KSTC). We’re building on the success of KSTC’s previous grant from the U.S. Department of Labor that established accelerated pathways for service members to licensed occupations.

ACCELERATED CAREER PATHWAYS FOR TRANSITIONING SERVICE MEMBERS

We’ve established 44 pathways leading to 55 licensed/certified occupations and covering more than 180 Military Occupational Specialties. Kentucky is one of only three states with these military-friendly pathways. View the Career Pathways.

BUILDING A UNIQUE TALENT PIPELINE IN KENTUCKY

We’re recruiting transitioning servicemembers and their families to fill workforce gaps and build a unique talent pipeline throughout the state.
